Review Course: PineLakes Country Club - January 15, 2010

Friday, January 15 - Opening Day at Pine Lakes. Wow, they didn't spare any money on that new entrance, huh? Course played long, with most of the par 4's at 380 yards or longer. I'd played this course before the renovations, and I like the new one much better. Greens rolled true and were fast. One complaint - why can't people fix their ball marks? The par 3 11th hole looked like it had the measles, and that's not the fault of the course - it's the golfers. Fix ball marks and rake bunkers guys! Dinner this night was a team gathering for all 28 guys at T Bonz near Broadway at the Beach. They set us up in a side room off the bar and the service was outstanding. Much thanks to Brian for helping set it up, along with Mark, Farrah and the staff that waited on us. Great night with great food. This was the first time we'd done a team dinner for everybody, and the guys loved it. This will become a staple for us in the future.
